Identifying adjectives
  1. He was a courageous soldier: Brave.
  2. It was a grand opening of the new library: Dignified, magnificent, superb/ Recently built.
  3. Dad bought a sturdy pony for my little brother: Solid, durable/ Small younger.
  4. There was a blazing fire burning in the incinerator: Glowing, flaming.
  5. There was a chilly wind along with the torrential rain: Cold, arctic/ Abundant.

    Hi Shaima. Thank you for sharing your learning. I like your use of alternative adjectives. Use them in your writing and to work out the meaning of anything you read.
